XIXth Century RARE HANDLE for Gigot d'Agneau/Leg of Lamb

   UNSURPASSED Leg of Lamb Holder Clamp 'manche à gigot' used to hold a Leg of Lamb. The inlaid Silver, Gold & Mother of Pearl artistry on the Handle is exquisite and considering its use, this Handle is in near pristine condition. The Handle is made of Ebony Wood and is inlaid with Silver, Gold and Mother of Pearl. It is not signed. The Handle is 8" Long and weighs approx. 140 grams. Practical, Decorative and very Collectible. XIXth Century FISH SERVERS, Napoléon III Circa 1870 by BOIVIN

   Antique 2 pc Fish SERVING PIECES in solid French .950 Silver in near pristine condition. Normally the Handles on serving pieces are Silver but Hollow, not these. The Knife & Fork are very heavy, (290gr) and each is very very beautifully decorated & engraved. The Silver work on the Handles is exquisite & decorated on both sides. Made by Parisian Silversmith 'BOIVIN' who received his Authority in 1897. Reference is P. 144 Dictionnaire des Poinçons, d’Orfèvrerie. Also, French Minerve N°1 Hallmark indicating its the finest French Silver, finer than Sterling (Reference is the Silver Book, "Tardy, Les poinçons d'argent @ P.199). Art Deco Antique French Silver Hors d'oeuvres Service Circa 1930

   A most unusual and unique French Art Deco Silver 12 Pick Set or Service for Hors d'Oeuvres. Use it for Olives or whatever and use it for Table Decoration and conversation. It was made Circa 1930 in France and considering its Age and Use, it is more remarkable to find something like this in such excellent condition. Equally, the Quality & Workmanship are outstanding. The Base is Mahogany. DIMENSIONS: Base is 6" Long x 2.75" Wide x 1/2" High and the Total height from ground to top of the Hat is 6.0 inches. Each Pick is 3" Long and the Red Ball is Bakélite.    This heavy .950 Antique Frenchy Silver Handmade 3 pc Covered Bowl with Original hand blown blue crystal Baccarat interieur was made in Paris, during the period of Napoléon III. The Silver is finer than Sterling and clearly Hallmarked 3 times with the French Minerve #1 Hallmark and by the famous and well sought after Parisian Silversmith, CARON, 89, rue de Turbigo, Paris. Rare FISH SERVER, French Circa 1819 ( Magnifique Pelle à Poisson en Argent Massif)

   Magnificent Fish Server, Pelle à Poisson, in the finest French Silver and entirely handmade. There is no better engraving or quality. There are 4 clearly stamped French Hallmarks. The earliest is from the 'Association of Silversmiths' 1793 + P for Paris + Vieillard (1819-1838) + 'Coq ataquant' in a Rectangle + 'Tête de Minerve' turned Right for Paris. Hallmarked as well by the Silversmith, Maître Orfèvre are "A * C + C below + Crown" in a Diamond Lozenge. Practical & Decorative. Massive Moulding and extremely fine Fretwork Decoration. ART DECO French Antique LAMP

   Outstanding, Rare Antique Silvered Bronze LAMP depicting a Beautiful Art Deco Woman kneeling on a Base, in lovely 2 tones of Marble, original to the Lamp. She is holding a decorated Helmut as if it is an Offering, which hides the Lamp. Quite practical as it can be used as a Table Lamp anywhere or, in the center of a Dining Room Table both as Decorative and a soft Light as well as a conversation piece at the Table. CONDITION WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent. The photos show some Tarnish which is quite normal and can be easily cleaned with a Silver Glove.I have not cleaned nor polished it for some time. Each piece was Handcrafted and bears the French Minerve N°1 Hallmark indicating it is the finest French Silver, finer than Sterling (Reference is the Silver Book, "Tardy, Les poinçons d'argent @ P.199). As well, each piece is Hallmarked by the Paris Silversmith, Henin, 77 rue des Archives, insculpé le 7 août 1896 as a Master Silversmith. Service consists of 6 Large Forks & 6 Large Spoons, 6 Smaller Forks & 6 Smaller Spoons. I only have 5 Coffee Spoons included. 12 Original CHRISTOFLE Gallia KNIFE RESTS, Circa 1930 Not a Mixed Set

   Quite difficult to find a Complete Set of 12 different Original animal knife rests from Christofle, France & signed GALLIA. Each animal is individually cast, Silver-Plated and each was individually fashioned as a Cubist Animal by the renowned French Sculptor/Designer Marcel Edouard SANDOZ. Created in the late 1920's for "Christofle's Gallia" line for use in the First Class dining room of the S.S. Normandie Ocean Liner. Having the Gallia Mark, which Christofle reserved for the more Avant Garde design range of Christofle, this set is even more desirable. Antique Pair of SALIERES, Salts 'COSSON' Paris, 1854

   This Hand Made double SALERON was made Circa 1854 by COSSON, one of the finest Silversmiths in Paris. Heavy weighing about 360g (30+oz.)without the liners, beautifully sculpted in French Silver, finer than Sterling. Each has its original Blue Baccarat Crystal Liner to protect the Silver and the Blue makes the Salt contrast inside the Interieurs. The Silver is clearly Hallmarked both with several Minerve Head #1 and with the Silversmith, Cosson. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY of the Silver and the Crystal, overall are exceptional. Compare the Crystal with later examples and the Quality becomes evident. 2 new Crystal inserts, not this quality will cost +/- $250. Price on Request

   Antique heavy French Bronze or Brass TABLE NUTCRACKER, circa 1900. The Nutcracker is formed in the shape and skin of a Walnut, including the handle of the Screw. The Detail is extraordinary. English NUTCRACKER, Casse Noix, Mechanical, Brilliant

   A vary rare early Mechanical NUTCRACKER in the form of a DOG. The handle is the dog's tail and when it is elevated or dropped, it activates the dog's mouth which is grooved to hold a 'Nut'. Very heavy in Cast Iron finished to look like Bronze and is beautifully detailed, eyes, ears, nose, hair, all over including the Screw on the side. Everything moves as if it were made yesterday. I say it is rare because normally these types of objects through use become damaged or broken. Everything is original. Tail is stamped as being made in 'England' & with 'Patent Pending' and a Patent #279483?. Condition & Quality are excellent with no loose parts. Back and front are detailed beautifully exhibiting the quality of old Christofle with the early Christofle Marks.
