Antique Carriage Repeater CLOCK with Enamel side Panels - Exceptional & RARE This large and very rare & important REPEATER was made in France in the 1800's. Bronze with Crystal and very heavy, has 2 Enamel side Panels decorated with Harem Girls and each Enamel panel is signed by the Artist 'Simonnet'. RARE Antique Bronze French Octagonal Watch with Alarm Rare Octagonal shape Model of a turn of the last Century unusual Watch with Alarm in Bronze or Brass. Sits on a Desk, a Counter or a Wall. The Watch winds manually from the back. The Face is white Enamel in excellent condition. Roman numberals for the time and an extra hand to set the Alarm from the Back. Dimensions: 7" high from the top fo the Ring to the bottom of the Watch and 4.5" wide. The movement has been completely cleaned, serviced and restored by an Horloger in France. The Face cover is a heavy Crystal which is also in good working condition. The interieur movement is fixed to the case by 4 screws. Antique decorated Bronze Travel or Carriage REPEATER CLOCK - Rare Large and important Carriage Clock Repeater was made in France in the 1800's. Called in France a 'Pendule Officier'. Beautifully decorated carved Bronze case with bevelled crystal panels and quite heavy. The Back is solid Bronze with 3 Key Openings which work with a Slide. The Repeater sounds automaticlly on the hour and 1/hour and in addition there is a manual 'Push' mechanism on the Top which when actived sounds on both the 1/2 Hour and the Hour. CHRISTOFLE CLOCK, Louis XV - Original in the Musée Christofle - Rare Model This wonderful large and important work of Art by CHRISTOFLE was made about 40 years ago to pay tribute to the original Clock in the Christofle Museum in Paris, at Saint Denis and dating from the 18th Century, the period of Louis XV (1723-1774). The movement is made and signed by the famous Swiss Watch & Clock Maker. Jaeger le Coultre. Engraved on the back is all of this information. Christofle Hallmarked. Very heavy, bronze which has been Silvered and weighs about 1.7 kilos. Dimensions: 31,0cm (12.25") high x 21,5cm (8.5") wide. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are exceptional considering Age. RARE Marine TIMER Stop Watch for 'PIGEON RACING' named L'ESTAFETTE Rare Watch made in France by the Marine Workshop in Bordeaux and designed specifically for Pigeon Racing. Bronze placque on front of Case reads: 'L'Estafette' Constateur de Colombophilie, inviolable- Fabriqué par les Ateliers de la Marine, 31 rue Esprit des Lois, BORDEAUX". Designed to be foolproof, i.e. tamperproof because of the Wire used to seal the cover of the Watch to the Case. Face has a Second sweep hand and the Face is Metal. RARE 18th Century Swiss Bronze Octagonal 1/4 hour REPEATER Fabulous & Rare end of the 18th/19th Century solid bronze quarter hour Repeater. Key wind on Face and same key regulates the hands for the time. Enamel face with Roman numerals. Pulling on the bronze figure 8 below the clock triggers the Hourly and Quarter Hour chimes. The movement is impressed with F344. Dimensions: Clock itself -4" x 4" & with the Hanging Ring and Figure 8 bronze pull, it measures 7.5" tall. The movement has been completely cleaned, serviced and restored by an Horloger in France. The Face cover is an heavy Crystal which has been bevelled. The interieur movement is fixed to the case by 3 screws. Comes with its original key in steel & bronze with turning Cylinder. |

Magnificent Large Cartel composed of 3 parts, the Console or Base, 12" x 13", the Clock with its face (Cadran) signed "Dupré Paris" & a Bronze Cupid or Cherub holding a torch. Total Height, 34". The inlaid Tortoiseshell and Bronze/brass Mounts are wonderfully executed. Condition & Quality are excellent for its age and it is in running condition. The Time sounds on the pull of a string which is on the side of the clock and it sounds on each quarter hour and the hours. Has its bronze beautifully sculpted and decorated Key. |
