XIXth Century Antique French Art Deco CIGAR BOX or 'Boite à Cigar' Circa 1930 From the incomparable Silver Workshops of GALLIA_Christofle is where this RARE Cigar Box or Cigar Humidor was made by Hand from heavily plated Silver over Bronze with inlaid exotic wood Panels and Double Wood interior. The Hinges are in perfect condition and considering its age, it is almost 100 years old and considering its use, its overall CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are exceptional. Dimensions are: 15,8 cm Long x 6,5cm High x 9,2 cm Deep. There is a custom made original 'Separator' piece to divide this Box if needed. Hallmarked O. GALLIA and Numbered 5428. French Antique .950 Quality Silver + 18 k Gold Gilt Interieur. The Silver is the highest quality, finer than Sterling Silver with Head Minerve #1 + 2 Silver Hallmarks, 'Sanglier' + Silversmith S L for Léon, 58, rue Fontaine-au-Roi, Paris. This Box dates to the late XIXth Century. Condition & Quality are excellent with no dents, no dings. The workmanship exemplifies the Quality of work done by the French XIXth Century Silversmiths. Most likely used as a Tobacco Box, it is Fully Hallmarked with Minerve Head #1 + Hallmark of the Silversmtith. |

Fabulous Antique French Porcelain + .950 Quality Silver Box, late XVIIIth early XIXth Century. Signed on the bottom with the initials, "D.V."Dimensions: 3.25" x 2.5" x 2.5" high. Decorated all over with Floral pattern in pastel colors. Interior is plain white porcelain. The bottom and top are protected by a SILVER (finer than Sterling) band or rim in Vermeil.
