3 Antique French Champagne or Wine BUCKETS, 1900's 3 French Antique Champagne, Wine or Ice Buckets each made in France by a different Silversmith, CHRISTOFLE, ERCUIS AND APOLLO. Please note the different Handles on each and the slight difference in Shape and Design. Each is in excellent Condition and equally the Quality and Workmanship of each is outstanding. Antique Wine Bottle TILTER, Wine Decanter or Wine Bottle Cradle AMAZING Vintage DISTRIBUTEUR A VIN for any Bottle of Wine, or, for Champagne, Cognac etc. this French Decanter which doubles as a Wine Bottle Holder is a Mechanical marvel. Otherwise known as a 'Verseur à Vin à Vis', or, in England, a "Port Tilter"or, simply Wine Bottle Holder. DIMENSIONS are 11" Long x 10 1/2" Tall. This would have been designed by an engineering genius, using the principle of the pulley and screwpull system which operates effortlessly by turning the Silver Handle. This changes the position of the bottle from upright, horizontal or downward allowing the Wine, Cognac etc. to be poured into a Glass. Looks like this was a Custom Order for a Wine Chateau in Bordeaux, Burgundy etc. Circa 1950's. Fully Hallmarked by the Silversmith, ERCUIS. Wine Bottle CHARIOT by Max LeVerrier in solid BRONZE C. 1930 BRILLIANT, Unique Extraordinary Art Deco Antique WINE BOTTLE HOLDER, a Work of Art, Handmade in solid BRONZE by world famous FRENCH SCULPTOR, Max LeVerrier is unsurpassed in Quality and Detail and impossible to completely describe. Look closely at the larger Photo to see some of the Details, e.g. the knobnails on the Wheels to stop it from moving, the Lion Heads on the side of the Wheels, every cm of Bronze is Engraved, or Decorated in raised Relief. The HANDLE in itself is a work of art in Bronze. Wheels come apart & they Turn, Chariot Rolls and reminds one of Ben Hur's Chariot. Design & Construction were 'Brilliant'. The Handle comes apart from the Body of the Chariot so that you can Serve the Wine by lifting the Bottle from the Base. Made by Max le Verrier in his own Foundry and his Great Grandson in PARIS wrote to me confirming its Authenticity, Uniqueness and its RARITY! DIMENSIONS: 24,0cm Long x 19,0cm Tall x 14,0cm Wide.
